Black was the night when I did surrender I did give in to my weakening side Now that I'm empty, my dreams once were many Souls bid a cry to unleash the divine

Thank you for the coments, faves and critiques. I didn't expect that this work will got so much attention.
This is a great piece of art. The emotion in this is so strong. The bloody tears running down the page gives this piece a strong feeling of pain and loss. I highly aprove of this artwork. There are, as in any artwork, a few flaws. But I have no need to point them out, as they are simple. That blank, pain-filled feel in the wolf's eyes brings out much of the picture. It makes me wonder if the wolf is in shock of something that had happened, like his mate dying, or his pack being taken over by a deadly disease, or if he is in shock that he had finally met his fate, that his time on earth was over.
I love this, and I wish that you make more pieces like this is the future!
This just breaks my heart somehow, such a powerful and sad portrayal of suffering and loss. The haunted look in the wolf's eye paired with the bloody tears that continue to run down the page convey a stark sense of tragedy, the waste of it all. I don't know what's going on here, but my mind fills in a lot of the story automatically, so your piece has a great vision and impact.
While I understand what you were going for near the top with the details fading back, I am not sure it works from where I sit. I'd like to see a little more definition there to understand if the wolf is decapitated or just mauled. But that's a tiny, tiny detraction from the overall brilliance.
